Wow, we are so surprised. Wait, we aren’t.
Yesterday, we already wrote about Far Cry 6‘s backstory in detail, so we aren’t going to repeat ourselves here – the Hong Kong PlayStation Store listing didn’t lie. Let’s talk about the game’s editions: the Gold Edition (100 euros) will include the base game and the Season Pass. The Ultimate Edition (120 euros) will also contain the Ultimate pack, which includes Jungle Expedition pack, the Croc Hunter pack, and the Vice pack. The Collector’s Edition (200 euros) will additionally include a high-end replica of the Tostador, an in-game flamethrower weapon (7 parts to be assembled, length: 72cm), a How to Assemble one-pager artwork illustrated by artist Tobatron, a unique Collector’s Case based on Tobatron’s iconic art style, an exclusive Steelbook, a 64-page artbook, a set of 10 stickers, a Chorizo keyring, a map, and a selected soundtrack. Pre-ordering gets you the Libertad Pack (Libertad outfit for Chorizo and the Discos Locos weaponized disc launche). Chorizo is a wiener dog by the way, and he can be quite a deadly force.
You have to ignite a revolution on the island of Yara as Dani Rojas, who could be either male or female. The capital city, Esperanza, will be hard to take, as the dictator (Ubisoft claims that, by the way…), Anton Castillo went „muh librulz” and with his goal to make the nation great again, he went far-right (think about it, a certain Austrian and Italian person were saying the same thing…), putting his son, Diego, as his heir. The former’s role is filled by Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad (so this leak wasn’t lying either…), and the latter is formed by Anthony Gonzales, and we still suspect a Diego-Vaas (Far Cry 3) link…
The leak wasn’t lying – Far Cry 6 (developed by Ubisoft Toronto, with support from the Montreal, Kiev, Shanghai, and Montpellier studios) will launch on February 18 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X (free PlayStation 4 > PlayStation 5, Xbox One > Xbox Series X upgrades supported), PC (Epic Games Store, Uplay), Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Will Ubisoft get away from the Far Cry 3 formula? Will there be microtransactions?
