Microsoft Flight Simulator Will Have An Internal Mod Market

The upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator will have a special mod market where modders will be able to sell their creations.

Some independent studios and players have already confirmed their participation in the program.

The new Flight Simulator is doing everything to become the ultimate aviation simulator. If you are not satisfied with the idea of having all the airports in the world, explore the skies with real and updated data on weather conditions and flight plans from airlines around the world or the possibility of piloting almost any plane you can imagine, Asobo Studio reserves a novelty for you: the internal market.

In it, the ‘ modders ‘ who have spent years working and publishing their creations for someone else will finally have an official space where they can share their creations with the community. Some of the more popular ones, like Orbx, have already confirmed their participation, which means that those who are willing to spend a little more money will most likely be able to enjoy more realistic modeling for airports, or pilot missing planes that have not entered the ’vanilla’ game.

Only the ‘partners’ can participate, but it does not take more than a small admission process (all free) that will give entrance to the greatest possible number of creatives. Once inside, modders can view performance statistics for their products, adjust prices manually, or even sell them on other sites of their own choosing as well.

Flight Simulator arrives on August 18 and has already presented its special and even physical editions, only for the European public. At the end of July, it will have a beta, but alpha participants can try it out today.
