On the last day of March, we finally learn the complete PlayStation Plus line-up that the subscribers will get for free.
No, we are not talking about the Play At Home titles (we have discussed these before), as getting them for free doesn’t require a PlayStation Plus subscription, in case you can’t find anything that benefits your taste in gaming, you might still find something to play (and if you do have an active subscription, we can also mention the PlayStation Plus Collection…). But the question is still present: those who spend a hefty amount to have online multiplayer on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, what do they get?
The leading title of the bunch is Oddworld Inhabitants’ next game, Oddworld: Soulstorm, which, similarly to Destruction AllStars and Bugsnax, launches immediately into PlayStation Plus, but only on PlayStation 5! On PlayStation 4, Sony Interactive Entertainment Bend Studio’s Days Gone (which is about to get a PC port), and Zombie Army 4: Dead War awaits us next month. So in comparison to the previous months, this line-up is smaller, but the quality might overcome the quantity. Perhaps less can indeed be more.
Until April 5, you can still access the March games. They are the following: Destruction AllStars (PlayStation 5), Farpoint (PlayStation VR), Maquette (PlayStation 5), Remnant: From the Ashes (PlayStation 4), and Final Fantasy VII Remake (Part 1, PlayStation 4 – if you have a PlayStation 5, you can run them via backwards compatibility) in case you haven’t picked them up yet.
So Sony provided a somewhat laid-back list for us in April, but you will still have plenty of games to choose from. Shortly after the middle of April, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition is also going to become a freebie as part of Play At Home, so that should be something to keep an eye or two on.
