Sony might be in a little tough situation if these are indeed the games that will be available for the PlayStation Plus subscribers.
While we have to wait one more day for the official announcement (and, as always, we will discuss it when the time comes) to see what those who pay a ton of money to have online multiplayer on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 get, we might have already learned what the „blues” might offer for the subscribers for the first month of the summer.
Areajugones, a Spanish website that was correct about the May games before the official announcement, claims to know what the PlayStation Plus titles will be in June. Two of them will be a brand new release, while the third one will be less of a recent title. As usual, two of them will be on PlayStation 4, and one will be on PlayStation 5.
According to the Spanish site, the PlayStation 4 will receive Star Wars: Squadrons and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, while the PlayStation 5 will get Operation: Tango. Here’s the official description for Virtua Fighter 5’s new version (the game debuted in 2006, it’s not that new…): „Virtua Fighter, which was created as the world’s first 3D fighting game in 1993, will restart as an eSports title in celebration of Sega’s 60th anniversary, starting in Japan. Details on the project will be announced in a future update.” And here’s Operation: Tango’s blurb: „It takes two to save the world in this cooperative spy adventure. Pair up with a friend as Agent or Hacker—with only your voices to connect you—and work together to bring a hi-tech global menace to its knees.”
As a reminder, in May, you have access to Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Die Last (one-month early access on PlayStation 5), Battlefield V (PlayStation 4), and Stranded Deep (PlayStation 4). The June leak is not official yet!
