After The Xbox Fridge, Here’s The Xbox Suitcase

After the Xbox Series X, now it’s the Xbox Series S‘ turn to get a special product.

July (we are not talking about the month, we’re talking about the luggage company) has teamed up with Xbox Australia and New Zealand to produce a special suitcase that closely resembles the Xbox Series S that launched in November 2020. It even has the black circular vent on its side, so going by the looks, it deserves an A+. You can win one.

Remember that this contest is happening in the other end of the world, so even if you managed to win one, you’d likely have to sell a body organ to have the import taxes and whatnot paid in full. However, if you did win this suitcase, it wouldn’t come empty: it would also have an Xbox Series S console and a controller inside.

A few influencers did get the suitcase in Australia, though, and for a good reason: this was Microsoft’s way to advertise the Xbox Series port of Microsoft Flight Simulator (which also got a PC upgrade patch that we detailed previously, go update your game to get it).

It’s not the first time Microsoft has done such a marketing stunt. Previously, the Redmond-based company managed to pick up on the meme that the Xbox Series X got immediately after it was revealed: Microsoft made a full-sized fridge with the design, and again, the influencers were the lucky people to get one. If you open its door, you get the boot music played. Some mini-fridges were made after a collab with Dwayne „The Rock” Johnson to advertise his energy drink.

We have to mention that the Xbox fridge got an announcement during the Microsoft-Bethesda joint E3 conference: this holiday season, you can buy one of the fridges for your personal use. Regarding the Xbox Series S suitcase, we have no such luck… yet.
