After a long wait, we finally have our first look at the sequel to 2018’s God of War, and it looks absolutely magnificent.
The story of God of War Ragnarok will pick up after where the first game ended, and Ragnarok is coming with its eternal cold. Aetreous, after the last game’s revelations, wants to learn more about himself and try and stop Ragnarok, while Kratos remembering his past wars with the Gods, wants to avoid the escalation of conflict with the Norse gods.
Although that may be too late, as Freya is on a path of vengeance, and Thor is also on his way to wreak havoc on Kratos and his son for killing his sons and half-brothers.
Combat will be improved and expanded upon with the Blades of Chaos, and for the Leviathan Axe. Furthermore, the number of enemies and bosses will be expanded upon and much more varied than This is highlighted in the trailer. It is really great to see that it will not just be endless Troll Giant mini-bosses and Dragurs.
The locations will also be expanded upon, and we will be able to visit all the realms- including Vanaheim, Svartalfheim, and even Asgard. Promising the players a rich and varied level design and environments, with unique enemies.
