I found this guy @thereelpatrickwilson stranded on a desert beach, doing his Cast Away impression. #Aquaman – Wan joked in his Instagram caption, referring to Tom Hanks’ film, which stars the protagonist living alone on a desert island.

On Monday, Wilson also shared a black-and-white Instagram photo of himself running shirtless.

“Atlantans run? #SeeOrmRun #RunOrmRun #aquamanandthelostkingdom,” wrote Wilson, 48, in the caption.

The actor will reprise his role as Orm in the upcoming 2018 Aquaman sequel alongside Jason Momoa and Amber Heard.

Wilson’s character is the half-brother of Arthur Curry/Aquaman, played by Momoa. Orm was crowned King of Atlantis in the first film, and he wanted to declare war on the surface world for humanity’s desecration of the seven seas. His plan was thwarted by Aquaman, and at the end of the film Orm was imprisoned. The story now goes that Orm is released from prison, where his hair and beard have grown quite long, and since he is not wearing his pancake, he also shows off his buff body in the film – much to the delight of the ladies watching. Could this new look also mean a new kind of action hero career for Patrick Wilson as he gets older – like Liam Neeson?
