We’ll Hear More Of Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Shortly

On DC FanDome, Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will give us a closer look into the game based on the Suicide Squad.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League isn’t a game we hear a lot in the news, even though Warner and Rocksteady announced it in August 2020! Since then, a year has passed, and we still barely know anything about the game. Still, the publisher and the developer know about the situation, which is why they announced a closer look at it at DC FanDome on October 16, at 10 AM Pacific.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was announced as a “genre-bending” new action-adventure shooter, set in an open-world Metropolis, where Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark are tasked with saving the earth and going up against DC superheroes. Here’s the official overview of the game: “Restrained with lethal explosives implanted in their heads, all four DC Super-Villains have no choice but to band together and carry out this untenable assignment as part of Amanda Waller’s infamous Task Force X.

The playable characters featured in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are Harley Quinn (a.k.a. Dr Harleen Quinzel), the mistress of mayhem; Deadshot (a.k.a. Floyd Lawton), the most dangerous marksman alive; Captain Boomerang (a.k.a. Digger Harkness), Aussie assassin extraordinaire; and King Shark (a.k.a. Nanaue), the demigod humanoid shark and rightful ruler of the seas. Each squad member has their unique moveset with enhanced traversal abilities to freely explore the dynamic open-world of Metropolis, along with a variety of weapons to customize and skills to master,” the description reads.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will launch in 2022 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. No PlayStation 4/Xbox One version. It makes sense: the two consoles will have been on the market for nine years by next year.
