The Bloober Team has confirmed the arrival of the new instalment in the Layers of Fear horror saga with a trailer. It’s going to be beautiful!

Layers of Fear returns next year. Bloober Team has announced the third instalment in the psycho-horror franchise and has shared a short teaser trailer showing the game running on the new Unreal Engine 5.

In the released video, the creators of The Medium and Blair Witch introduce the painter we’ve come to know from the first and second instalments, who seems to continue to be disturbed by the strange things going on around him. In a similar but technically very advanced setting and detail to the original title!

“Layers of Fear was our first successful project. It paved the way for the Bloober Team and started our growth, allowing us to explore more of the stories we wanted to tell,” said Piotr Babiebo, CEO of the developer. “I am very happy that we are returning to this world more aware and experienced.”

The new instalment of Layers of Fear has no confirmed name yet, so expect some extra tidbits after the title. But that won’t be the only one, as the Bloober Team is also working on two AAA projects that have yet to be announced.
