The trailer introduces us to Escharum, the leader of the Banished.
What a week this is for the fans of Halo Infinite. The title is coming later this year after development complications led to delayed launch. Not only did they finally clear the doubts surrounding the launch of the game with the new trailer, but they also went deeper into what we will be able to find in this new game of the franchise.
With the release of a cinematic trailer entitled The Banished Rise, 343 Industries introduces us to a new villain of Master Chief. The villain’s name is Escharum, leader of the Banished, who, while we’ve met before, now makes a speech that seems rather sinister. In his speech, he proclaims the imminent destruction of humanity, starting with its heroes, and he also talks about the death of hope.
Microsoft says this is the biggest challenge Master Chief has ever faced so far. Infinite’s story mode will go on to deepen the confrontation between the two characters. The antagonist will also be more potent than in the previous games since the absence of rivals with a strong personality has been criticised on multiple occasions.
Halo Infinite will arrive on December 8 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The presentation of the campaign has served to silence the critics, as the comparison between what we saw before and what we’ve been shown now leaves apparent differences.
