FromSoftware also shows the multiplayer and other features of its new Elden Ring game.

They have been slow to give news, but finally, there’s new stuff! The Japanese team at FromSoftware has presented an extensive Elden Ring gameplay video that has allowed us to see their highly anticipated open-world RPG in action, as well as confirming that there will be a special collector’s edition (which was leaked minutes before) with a figure and even a replica of the helmet of Malenia, one of the main characters of the adventure.

This extended gameplay has started with the fight against a dragon. However, the novelty here lies in the fact that our protagonist is riding on a mount, which is one of the new features that Elden Ring introduces compared to other games in the Souls saga. Further exciting details of this new fantasy universe have been shown during the gameplay, with a large and beautiful illustrated map that will allow us to explore the vast and dangerous open world that the FromSoftware game boasts with greater comfort.

The Elden Ring Premium Edition includes a replica of Malenia’s helmet. During our journey through this new world, we can summon other players to enjoy a renewed multiplayer experience, facing the final bosses and the dangers of this fantasy universe. With the help of the mounts, we will be able to travel long distances in less time, and, in the line of the fantastic Sekiro, the verticality of the scenarios will allow us to use stealth and sneak attacks to destroy rivals before they know it.

Of course, being a FromSoftware game and that wonderful open world, we will also find dungeons, caves, and castles with a design closer to what we are used to in the saga. We have seen some of these gloomy places during this gameplay, although the open world and its beautiful panoramas have taken the primary role.

They could not miss the impressive final bosses, with a couple of duels that have left us with some quite exciting scenes and the last fight that promises to be a real challenge.

As leaked, Elden Ring will have a special collector’s edition that includes a 23cm figure of Malenia and other extras such as a 40-page art book or the soundtrack in digital format, as we can see on its official website. However, FromSoftware fans will have another superior option at their fingertips: the Premium edition, with the same contents and a life-size replica of Malenia’s helmet.

The Premium edition (with helmet) price is 259.99 euros, while the collector will cost 189.99 euros. Both editions will also include other extras, such as three exclusive cards with images of the Midlands, a cloth patch, or a game poster. This torrent of news comes just days before Elden Ring‘s closed beta testing phase kicks off to put its servers to the test.
