eFootball 2022 got a new patch , version 0.9.1, but it’s a minor release that was supposed to be a stepstone towards the larger 1.0.0 update scheduled for November 11th.
Konami has delayed the arrival of the final version (1.0.0) of its soccer video game eFootball 2022, the successor title to the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) saga, as well as its mobile version, which in both cases will not arrive until spring 2022.
eFootball 2022 is already available for free since September 30 on PC and consoles, in a new format for the saga, with updates that will add additional content.
The Japanese video game studio planned to release the final 1.0.0 update of the game on November 11, along with its version for iOS and Android mobiles but has announced via Twitter that these plans are postponed until spring 2022.
“We are working as hard as possible to deliver an experience our players expect and deserve for spring 2022,” said Konami, which has apologized and thanked players for their patience.
An important update from the development team.

Following this decision, Konami has announced that it will automatically cancel and refund pre-orders for eFootball 2022’s premium player pack, which included items that can only be used in the game after the version 1.0.0 update.
However, eFootball 2022 received new content this Friday with the release of version 0.9.1 for PC and consoles, which patches several issues from previous versions.
