MOVIE NEWS – A romance novelist (Sandra Bullock) and the cover model for her new book (Channing Tatum) go on a road trip together, but they are kidnapped and end up in the jungle of a deserted island.

The film also stars Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) in a significant role, and Brad Pitt makes a brief appearance, possibly in the role of one of the kidnappers.

The Lost City was a particular ordeal for Channing Tatum, who had strutted his stuff on screen in dance and action films with a perfectly ripped figure but was entirely out of shape from the beers and pizzas he consumed during quarantine. It took him long, painful weeks before filming to regain his original form through a strict diet and exercise regime.

The lead role in The Lost City was initially meant to go to Ryan Reynolds, who made a great pair with Bullock in the romantic comedy The Nazi Proposal, but for some reason, Tatum was chosen.
