Thymesia showed us its first trailer in spring and was due to hit shops in December
Last spring, an exciting trailer for a dark fantasy action RPG with challenging combat come to light. Its name was Thymesia, and it was scheduled for release on December 7. In the end, the developers have not been able to keep to the planned schedule and have announced that the game will hit shops in 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X Series X|S.
“Together with our partner Team17, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release of Thymesia until 2022. As a community, you have been wonderful in your support, and we know this will be a disappointment to many, but our goal is to release Thymesia in the best possible state. We need a little more time to work on the finishing touches,” OverBorder Studio announced on Steam.
“For us as developers, it’s important to release something we’re proud of, and we’re looking forward to you being able to enjoy the experience we’ve created once it’s ready later this year,” the team adds. To accompany this information, OverBorder Studio has been kind enough to share a new trailer for the role-playing adventure, showing various combat and scenarios.
Thymesia is presented on the Valve shop as a challenging action RPG with fast-paced combat and a complex plague system as weapons set in a devastated, monster-infested land. In a realm where death is rampant, you’ll play as the mysterious character Corvus. Hunt down your enemies, wield the power of disease and find the truth in your memories.
