Calls for the departure of Activision Blizzard’s CEO are mounting, and now his role on the soft drinks company’s board has come into question.

Bobby Kotick‘s future as CEO of Activision Blizzard is more in doubt than ever, but the ongoing controversy surrounding his leadership of the video game company is beginning to call into question his involvement in other companies, such as The Coca-Cola Company, where a conservative US shareholder group is calling for his departure.

“Sexual harassment in the workplace is unacceptable. There exists no constituency in favour of sexual harassment, except perhaps among corporate executives who cover for each other.”

– writes the National Legal and Policy Center in a letter to Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey, recalling all the sexual harassment allegations involving Activision Blizzard currently involving the company’s CEO. “At best, [Bobby Kotick] has major problems at his own corporation that need his full attention. At worst, he is partially – if not fully – culpable for the working environment that had been established at first Activision, then Activision Blizzard, during his 30-year tenure.”

The panel uses Bobby Kotick’s time on the board of the Coca-Cola Company, which he joined in 2012, as a reminder that the soft drink company explicitly prohibits harassment, intimidation, retaliation, threats and coercion based on several factors, including gender.

James Quincey has not yet responded to the letter. At Activision Blizzard, Bobby Kotick is currently clinging on to his position as CEO by the skin of his teeth and is working to introduce new measures to appease internal and external protesters and respond to criticisms of PlayStation Xbox and Nintendo, among others.
