What Games Were Completed The Most? One Site Has Summed Up The List!

HowLongtoBeat has come up with its year-end list, in which one of Capcom’s games boasts a high completion rate.

On Twitter, the most-completed list shows some pretty decent games. Resident Evil: Village took the top spot (Ethan’s storyline had to be brought to an end), followed by Metroid Dread (a new 2D Metroid) and the PlayStation 5 exclusive Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. It Takes Two (the rights to the name of which were trademarked by Take-Two, even though Electronic Arts published the game; Josef Fares created it) was fourth, followed by Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Twelve Minutes, Psychonauts 2, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, The Medium and Little Nightmares II.

Let’s look at the opposite: which games were the ones where people didn’t see it end the most? Twelve Minutes, Loop Hero and The Ascent made the podium. They are followed by Outriders, The Medium, the PlayStation 5 exclusive Returnal, Oddworld: Soulstorm, Back 4 Blood (whose developers have been in the news earlier today), Cyber Shadow and Biomutant. A few titles have popped up from the previous list, and indie and AAA titles alike have appeared on the “bench of shame.”

The site also revealed the top 10 unfinished games by rate. The results show differences: Loop Hero (11.1%), The Ascent (10%), Genesis Noir (9.3%), Oddworld: Soulstorm (9.2%), Cyber Shadow (8.5%), Biomutant (8.1%), Cris Tales (7.8%), Sable (7.7%), Outriders (7.6%), and Omno (7%). There are some overlaps, but similar titles are popping up. For unfinished games, the impact of Xbox Game Pass should be highlighted: those who tried something and then didn’t continue also impacted the rankings.

There is one more list with backlogging. This top 10 covers games where players plan to continue or finish later. NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… finished on top, and behind it, Resident Evil: Village and Mass Effect Legendary Edition made the podium (the former is not that long, so we don’t understand…). Behind them, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Tales of Arise, Deathloop and Bravely Default II all made the top ten. Some of them are Switch exclusives.

Of course, this is just one site’s list; the reality may be different.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
