Marvel Fans Stoked For Jon Watts’ Fantastic 4

Fantastic 4 movie will be directed by Jon Watts, responsible for the new Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland

Marvel Studios fans are raving about Spider-Man: No Way Home, which has just been released. Because of that, they are praising its director Jon Watts and believe that Fantastic Four will be in good hands. It was confirmed some time ago that he would be the director in charge of this new reboot.

It should be remembered that the Fantastic Four share a similar situation to Spider-Man at Marvel Studios. Since there are two previous sagas with different actors, they will have to reboot them and introduce them into a Cinematic Universe that already exists. In the case of Peter Parker, they took advantage of Captain America: Civil War (2016) to introduce him, but for now, we don’t know if Reed Richards and the rest will appear for the first time in an instalment of other heroes like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) or Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) or if the first time we will see them will be in their own film that still doesn’t have a release date. We’ve compiled the best comments from Marvel Studios fans on social media about the upcoming Fantastic Four film directed by Jon Watts:

Since seeing the MCU Spidey trilogy conclude with No Way Home, I think it’s safe to say that The Fantastic Four is in good hands,” one viewer tweeted.

“I think we need to take a minute to recognise Jon Watts,” says someone else. “The man got booed out of the room when he was announced for Fantastic Four. I’m not sure there are many who can’t see what he brings to take table coming out of No Way Home. Dude can direct.”

“The real question is, who will be directing the new Spider-Man trilogy? Jon Watts is headed to start work on Fantastic Four now that No Way Home is done. Which I’m so much excited for after what he did with Spider-Man: No Way Home.”
