Kingdom Hearts Goes To The Cloud On The Nintendo Switch Shortly [VIDEO]

The Kingdom Hearts franchise will also celebrate its 20th anniversary, but the Nintendo Switch owners can celebrate until then.

Square Enix announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX Cloud Version, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Cloud Version, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind Cloud Version are now available in demo format on Nintendo’s highly successful hybrid platform. The whole package will be available in one place too, and you can find it on the Nintendo eShop as Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud. (As we are talking about cloud games, don’t expect a retail version after all…)

The pricing has also been confirmed for each title: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX Cloud Version (we’ll mention the included titles in brackets: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, HD remastered cutscenes-including Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and another HD cutscenes-having title, Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded) will cost 40 dollars, but you can pick it up at a discount for 32 at launch.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Cloud Version (Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-, and a film: Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover) will cost 50 bucks or 40 at launch. Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind Cloud Version isn’t complicating things further. It includes Kingdom Hearts III and the Re Mind DLC for 50/40 USD, depending on when you buy it. If you want everything (which, according to the publisher, brings ten experiences), Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud is the way to go for 90 dollars, or 72 if you get it at launch. All of these will be available from February 10 on the Nintendo eShop, but you can access the demos already.

Square Enix also announced on Twitter that in Tokyo on April 10, it will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts with a mini-concert, a Q&A with the developers, an exhibition, and “much more.” They will publish a video of it at a later date. Are they announcing the next title here by any chance?
