Now that the strategy title is coming to consoles, Paradox quickly responded to questions about Game Pass.
Yesterday, a new trailer for Paradox Interactive’s strategy game Crusader Kings III was released, along with a release date for next-gen consoles. Following the news, the team answered several questions in a recent Q&A, but the verdict on the game’s arrival on Xbox Game Pass remained uncertain.
“We’re not ready to give any information yet” – Paradox Interactive
“We are not ready to give any information at this time,” the team said. “Paradox has a great relationship with Microsoft and the entire Game Pass team, but again, we have nothing to share with you on this topic.”
Needless to say, the team has preferred to avoid further details for the time being, with the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S release dates being their priority. However, we shouldn’t rule out the possibility in the future either, especially after the “great relationship” the team claims to have with Microsoft.
Crusader Kings III has been available on PC for some time now, and the title has been a massive success on the platform, logging more than 128 million hours of play after the strategy game’s first anniversary. However, the company hasn’t had the best of times, with several projects in development having to be cancelled.
Xbox Game Pass, meanwhile, has a promising future ahead of it, as now that Microsoft has acquired Activision Blizzard, many iconic franchises within the industry could be coming to the subscription service, including Call of Duty, Overwatch, Diablo, Starcraft and World of Warcraft itself.
