MOVIE NEWS – A new video from Paramount+’s Halo series features Master Chief in action alongside iconic characters like Cortana.
Xbox Game Studios’ veteran sci-fi shooter franchise Halo, the TV adaptation of Master Chief, is one of the most anticipated significant events for fans – especially after the recent success of Halo Infinite. The Paramount+ series finally has an official premiere date, as well as an epic trailer.
The Halo series arrives on Paramount+ on 24 March
The series will debut during halftime of the NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals on 24 March. The series will star the imposing Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, with Jen Taylor, seen in the new trailer, remaining as Cortana.
The series promises to treat fans to a story that will take them on its own journey, keeping in mind that it will be challenging to satisfy the diverse perspectives found in a dedicated fan community. 343 Industries’ own director of transmedia products, Kiki Wolfkill, admitted that they plan to “show us a side of Master Chief that we just don’t get to see in games.”
The Paramount+ production was introduced to us with a short trailer at The Game Awards 2021 conference, but fans have highly anticipated a video like today. In addition to Master Chief and Cortana, the cast also includes Charlie Murphy, Shabana Azmi, Danny Sapani and Bokeem Woodbine, among others.
