However, and although users have requested the introduction of this means of transport, CD Projekt RED has no plans to use this line to link the different areas of Night City.

Marcin Momot, CD Projekt RED’s Global Community Director, commented on Twitter: “Sorry to be a spoilsport, but that’s not the point. We have no plans to add the metro to the game.” This tweet was in response to a Cyberpunk 2077 screenshot that announced a construction zone, so players quickly started their theories around the subway.

So, with this transport mode out of the question, it seems that CD Projekt RED is focusing on other initiatives.
