Polyphony Digital’s highly anticipated Gran Turismo 7 was released today, and Spanish fans are celebrating in a genuinely worthy way.
Gran Turismo 7 has captured the hearts of racing fans for several reasons – we loved it too; here’s our fresh, crunchy review! It’s already confirmed to bring back one of motorsport’s most iconic tracks, and the recent State of Play focusing on the game has raised gamers’ expectations with some immersive gameplay. Now, to celebrate the title’s upcoming release, PlayStation ES has organised a special event.
The launch event began broadcasting yesterday from 20:00
Just like Le Mans, Daytona or the Nürburgring, Gran Turismo 7 will be part of a 24-hour launch event. In keeping with its iconic approach to the world of driving, there will be an endurance race featuring top drivers from Dux Gaming, Fordzilla, Falcons and Topes de Gama Racing Team.
You can follow the Spanish-language coverage on PlayStation’s official Twitch, YouTube and Facebook channels today, 4 March, until 8 pm CET.
This will be an extraordinary premiere, which, as you can imagine, will end on the day of the launch of Gran Turismo 7. The live stream will also feature other experts such as Ibai Llnaos, DJ Mariio, Antonio Lobato, Cristóbal Rosaleny and Noemí de Miguel, not forgetting the iconic Kazunori Yamauchi, the title’s director.
Kazunori Yamauchi will be interviewed during the live event
As part of this, the event will feature an interview with Yamauchi, in which he will discuss various topics related to digital driving and the critical features of Gran Turismo 7. On the other hand, PlayStation will also use the event to unveil the new Toyota Yaris GR Sport GT 7 Edition, a limited edition of the Japanese brand’s vehicle, which, like the Polyphony Digital game, goes on sale today.
If you love the classic driving style of the video game franchise and plan on playing Gran Turismo 7, the PlayStation Rendezvous is just minutes away. What’s more, the 24-hour format allows players to log in at any time of the day, so they can experience some exceptional moments from the Gran Turismo series.
Polyphony Digital is already preparing post-launch content for Gran Turismo 7
In addition to the presentation, it’s worth noting that Polyphony Digital is already pulling out all the stops for the launch of Gran Turismo 7 and the future of the series. After all, it seems that the development team is preparing updates that will further expand the player’s options on the tracks.
