This will be the rapper’s first appearance in the new Call of Duty games.
As usual for annual releases, Call of Duty: Vanguard continues to receive content after its launch in 2021. Looking ahead to future additions, both Vanguard and Warzone are receiving a multitude of new content in updates. Activision has already announced that Season 3 will begin in April, following the delay of Season 2.
In addition to content related to new maps, weapons, operators and events, the inclusion of Snoop Dogg has attracted a lot of attention. He’s coming to the Call of Duty games as a playable character. The first time we’ll see him will be in COD: Mobile, but the American rapper’s bundle will be available from 19 April in Vanguard and Warzone.
“D O Double G is coming back to Call of Duty, and now I’m in the damn game,” the artist says on the official blog. The post details that it will be part of an exclusive operator pack that, if purchased, will gift us ten new items, including three weapons. In addition, we will be rewarded with alternative costumes and cosmetic items for simply controlling Snoop Dogg.
This is not the first time Snoop Dogg has been involved in video games. He has done previous collaborations with Call of Duty and has been involved in the gaming world for years, promoting games and being a part of them. The most recent thing we’ve heard from him is that he’s been directly involved in the new music themes for GTA Online, which added a Dr Dre expansion at the end of 2021.
