343 Industries has asked the Halo Infinite community to be patient, and that wait is already bearing fruit.
Although the release of Halo Infinite was met with a resounding response from Master Chief fans, it wasn’t long before we saw a mass exodus of players. This phenomenon was due to a noticeable lack of content, delays to fundamental gameplay modes and general community fatigue, but we finally have a good reason to return to the battlefield.
Halo Infinite Season 2 will be released on May 3
343 Industries has just announced Halo Infinite Season 2, which will be titled Lone Wolves. As you can see in the launch trailer, users will be able to experience a handful of new additions to the game from May 3, leaving less than a month to go until multiplayer is once again packed with players.
The trailer shows some of the elements 343 Industries has been preparing for this season: new maps, modes, limited-time themed events and a never-ending Battle Pass. We’re eagerly awaiting more details on everything that’s coming with the second season, though we already know it will cheer gamers who were hoping for something new for Halo Infinite.
So we’ll have to try our patience until 343 Industries releases the next update for multiplayer. Master Chief, by the way, has been the star of other surprises in recent days, such as a strange recipe book that lets you cook like a real Spartan.
