Johnny Depp Lawsuit: Even A Woman’s Abuse Organization Stands Up For The Actor!

MOVIE NEWS – Mission NGO, an international non-profit organisation that helps abused women and children, has issued a statement in support of Johnny Depp.

As the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard draws closer to its conclusion, more and more people are voicing their opinions on which side to believe based on the highly publicised proceedings. Depp, who appears to have massive support from fans and observers of the trial, has now received some good words from a surprising place, the women’s abuse charity Mission NGO. The international non-profit organisation, founded by Valeria Altobelli, has issued a public statement supporting Johnny Depp.

“Violence is a serious topic,” Altobelli said in the statement.

“As women, as mothers, we have the duty and the responsibility to educate our sons and daughters, that’s to say, the Future Generation, in the light of the values of dialogue, respect and compassion between men and women, without any gender distinction, in order to prevent violence with the weapons of love and education. In deep respect of the victims of domestic abuses that we have to affirm for intellectual honesty are, generally, WOMEN, we feel to express, as women, as mothers, as free thinkers, our compassion for Johnny Depp in this bad page of his personal history.”

The open letter, signed by Altobelli, continues, “Mission NGO women from all over the world stand against domestic violence, regardless of gender, age or race. Our mission is to educate men and women, with no gender differences, to keep talking and living in the values of love, mutual comprehension and sensitivity in order to prevent all kinds of violence, against women against men, against children.”

“As women, we have compassion and we feel empathy not for THE star, THE talent, THE actor but for a man, a father, a worker, A HUMAN,” explains Altobelli. “Mental Health is something we have to care about to live in a positive environment where women and men can love and respect each other without any kind of abuse and violence. We are human and we have to find the HUMANITY we are born to live for.”

Many are supporting Johnny, but can he win his case?

Fans and other celebrities have also spoken out in the lawsuit to show their support for Johnny Depp. Eva Green, with whom the actor co-starred in Dark Shadows, recently posted a picture of herself with Depp on Instagram while noting that her friend will “emerge with his good name and wonderful heart revealed to the world.” He has long offered the continued support of many fans with countless tweets online, often using the hashtag #JusticeForJohnnyDepp.

Johnny Depp seems to have convinced many viewers, perhaps most viewers, that he is innocent of the domestic violence allegations made against him by his ex-wife Amber Heard. But the key to his victory will be to convince his fellow jurors that he was defamed. Defamation cases are notoriously difficult to win, but even if the actor loses the case, Depp’s reputation seems to have improved due to the trial.
