MOVIE NEWS – Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp is known for expressing himself on TikTok, but singer Doja Cat is not happy about his latest post.

Stranger Things made the actors of the series stars, so they also became very prominent figures in social media. One of the most prominent on social media platforms is Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers in the series, but it seems that he is now in trouble because of this in connection with a case involving singer Doja Cat.

With the second installment of Stranger Things Season 4 coming out over the July 4th weekend, Schnapps’ name has been making headlines for the show’s success. However, his name is now in the headlines for another reason besides Stranger Things. Many stars have already expressed their love for Stranger Things and its characters, including icons Daniel Radcliffe, Sophie Turner and Stephen King. Now Doja Cat has also been added to the list – you could say.

Recently, Schanpp shared a video on her TikTok account that showed private Instagram direct messages where the 26-year-old singer asked Schnapp to set her up with her Stranger Things co-star Joseph Quinn. The message Doja wrote to Schnapp read exactly: “Noah can you tell Joseph to hmu? Wait no. Does he have a girlfriend?” Schnapp responded to the singer by suggesting she text Quinn herself, to which she replied that she had no way of contacting Quinn as she did not know his social media contacts. Schnapps’ Tik Tok video, in which he shared the exchange between the two stars, went viral on social media as many who watched the video found it humorous. However, Doja Cat had a different take on their private conversation being leaked in such a public place.

Later that night, Doja Cat did a live stream on her own TikTok account, addressing Schnapp and the whole situation. He began by making it clear that he understood that Schnapp was just a child, stating: “To be fair, it’s such a childish thing to do. I don’t know how old he is, but there’s no way he’s over 21.” She went on to give her brutally honest opinion, telling her Tik Tok followers: “When you’re that young, you make mistakes. You do stupid things. I try to be super fair. You mess up with people, you make mistakes – as you should know that the don’t do it in the future. I’ve done similar stupid things.” The singer ended her TikTok rant by calling the Stranger Things star a “snake”, a “weasel” and describing his behavior as “so incredibly socially ignorant and crazy”.

Schnapp and his team have not yet responded to Doja Cat’s comments about him. However, one can argue about who is right and who is wrong in this situation. For Doja, a 26-year-old woman, sending private messages to a minor is not the best thing to do, and Schnapp sharing private messages is also considered an invasion of privacy. Despite the drama, hopefully the stars can come to terms outside of the public eye and resolve this feud, considering they’ve both been pretty big fans of each other’s work in the past.
