PlayStation has announced the arrival of Dino Crisis, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Ridge Racer 2 to the PS Plus Italian catalogue before quickly cancelling the titles shortly afterwards.

The new PS Plus is already well established, with hundreds of games available to subscribe to. But new and retro titles are constantly being added to the catalogue, with PlayStation recently announcing up to 17 new additions to the service. However, the new system still has bugs and misunderstandings that, as we saw a few hours ago, have alarmed the community.

For a few minutes, users in Italy thought they had access to Dino Crisis and more games.

We reported the story on the Italian PlayStation blog, which added titles such as Dino Crisis, Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny and Ridge Racer 2 to the PS Plus Premium Games July list. Players were quick to point out that the Japanese company had not announced these titles in other countries, which Italian users found a fascinating move.

Unfortunately, PlayStation Italy has amended the list by removing those games, so PS Plus Premium users worldwide will be able to enjoy the same adventures in July. While this is bad news for gamers in the European country, more than a few users speculate that they may come across these titles in the future, which explains the company’s mistake.

After all, why would they talk about Dino Crisis and co. if they have no intention of including them in the catalogue?

Be that as it may, the current PS Plus still offers users plenty of games. The service has launched with a bunch of adventures, but you need to know that Essential members can already access three free games for the month of July, including Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan and Arcadeggedon.
