Isabelle Fuhrman Joins The Cast Of A Western Made by Legendary Actor-Director!

MOVIE NEWS – After appearing in the new horror sequel Orphan: First Kill, Isabelle Fuhrman is next heading to the Wild West with Kevin Costner.

After her return to the horror genre, Isabelle Fuhrman is set to take on her next big role in a western. According to Deadline, the star of Orphan: First Kill has joined the cast of Warner Bros. and New Line’s Horizon, a western epic currently in development starring Kevin Costner. The film also stars Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Jamie Campbell Bower, Luke Wilson, Thomas Haden Church, Jena Malone, Alejandro Edda, Tatanka Means and Michael Rooker.

Horizon, directed by Costner himself and co-written by Costner and Jon Baird, is set around the American Civil War.

The film chronicles “a multi-faceted 15-year span of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West. Experienced through the eyes of many, the epic journey is fraught with peril and intrigue from the constant onslaught of natural elements to the interactions with the indigenous peoples who lived on the land, and the determination and at many times ruthlessness of those who sought to settle it.”

Isabelle Fuhrman, the former child star, broke into the public consciousness with her memorable role in the hit horror film Orphan. She recently reprised the role in the sequel, Orphan: First Kill, now streaming on Paramount+. She has also recently appeared in films such as The Novice, The Last Thing Mary Saw and Escape Room: Tournament of Champions. Fuhrman has also appeared in the Showtime series Masters of Sex and was the voice actor for Adventure Time.

Horizon has no release date yet.
