Microsoft has announced the new additions to the Redmond-based company’s monthly subscription service.
Already available are Disney Dreamlight Valley: Founder’s Edition (console, i.e. Xbox Series and Xbox One, PC, cloud; early access), Opus Magnum (PC, ID@Xbox, i.e. indie title), and Train Sim World 3 (console, PC, ID@Xbox, launching in Game Pass). Coming on 13 September: Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation (PC, ID@Xbox) and DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace (console, PC, cloud), You Suck at Parking (console, PC, cloud, ID@Xbox, Game Pass launch) on the 14th, and two brand new games launching in Game Pass on the 15th: Despot’s Game (console, PC, ID@Xbox) and Metal: Hellsinger (Xbox Series, PC, ID@Xbox). As a reminder, Grid Legends (console, PC) is also available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers via EA Play.
There’s no significant movement on DLCs and updates: 10% off for Game Pass members on Dead by Daylight: Resident Evil: Project W (Albert Wesker as the mastermind, with Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers as the two playable characters), Grounded: The Home Stretch Update (the last significant update in Early Access; the game launches on September 27), you can buy The Elder Scrolls Online: Lost Depths DLC at a 10% discount, and Halo Infinite has The Yappening Event running (free ten-tier event pass, rewards tied to YapYap). And on September 13, Fallout 76: The Pitt is coming (new location).
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks: the Smash Boxer pack is now available in the Rumbleverse (cosmetic kit, exclusive background card and frame, 120-minute Fame booster), The Legion and Yui costume arrives in Dead by Daylight on the 8th, Need For Speed Payback deluxe edition upgrade is available to members with the DLX content pack on the 13th, and the Twin Grakatas Jade Bundle (Jade weapon skin, Clem emblem, Platinum…) arrive in Warframe on the 15th.
Finally, on September 15, these games will be leaving: Son of Crimson (console, PC, cloud), I Am Fish (console, PC, cloud), Lost Words: Beyond the Page (console, PC, cloud), Mighty Goose (console, PC, cloud), SkateBird (console, PC, cloud) and The Artful Escape (console, PC, cloud).
That is not a bad update.
