A gameplay trailer video has revealed the final release date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

The Disney & Marvel Games Showcase presentation opened with a pleasant surprise. Marvel’s Midnight Suns was originally scheduled for release this fall, but Firaxis has finally announced that it will be released during Take-Two’s next fiscal quarter, March 31, 2023. This meant that we weren’t expecting to get it this year, but the online presentation revealed that we wouldn’t have to wait that long after all: the tactical superhero game will be released on December 2, 2022.

But that’s still for PC, Xbox and PlayStation, with no word on when the game will arrive on Switch.

Still, the good news is that Midnight Suns will get a short animated prequel series featuring the game’s superheroes. It will premiere on October 31st. Here’s a trailer for it:
