Spider-Man: Miles Morales: Good News For Steam Deck Players!

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to PC in a few days, and Insomniac Games has confirmed that it is officially “Steam Deck Verified”.

Insomniac Games recently confirmed that Spider-Man: Miles Morales has been officially verified for Steam Deck. This means that the game is compatible with Valve’s handheld.

First released for PlayStation 4 in 2020, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an open-world RPG that follows the titular character as he balances school and a crime-fighting superhero.

The game later became the launch title for PlayStation 5 and went on to sell over six million copies. The PC version will be released on November 18 on Steam and Epic Games.

Players will soon be able to access the game on Steam Ceiling. Insomniac Games announced in a tweet that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is officially “Steam Deck Verified”. With the game coming to Steam in the next few days, Steam Deck owners can access the game immediately after purchase. Those who want to get started with the first Spider-Man game can purchase the remastered version on Steam and play it on Steam Deck.

Many players are excited to be able to play or replay Spider-Man: Miles Morales on Steam Deck and PC.

Insomniac Games responded by thanking fans for the positive reception. They welcomed players back to Spider-Man in New York City. They also clarified that they have no plans to make Miles Morales playable on cloud-based gaming services like Nvidia GeForce NOW.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an immersive RPG in which players can explore different corners of New York City. Adding it to Steam Deck would make it easy to play anywhere. In addition, Sony and Insomniac Games have promised new visuals, broad accessibility and more for the PC release of the game. Hopefully, all of this will also apply to the Steam Deck edition. Only time will tell if these improvements will be implemented.
