Did Elon Musk Corner Himself On The Top Of Twitter?!

TECH NEWS – The situation at Twitter continues to get more complicated as the year draws to a close.

SpaceX and Tesla chief Elon Musk put up a poll over the weekend asking if he should step down as Twitter’s leader. Of the 17.5 million voters, 57.5% voted yes. In a few replies, he suggested that no one wants the job, which will be about keeping Twitter alive, and he didn’t even name a successor either. Instead, he turned up at the football World Cup final in Qatar, but not for nothing. He met with investors and reportedly had some heated discussions.

Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion. The transaction was partly on credit, partly from a Saudi prince, Talal Al-Waleed (1.4 billion), and partly from the Qatar sovereign wealth fund (400 million). After the football World Cup, Musk posted two critical tweets. One of them was about the vote, and before that, he wrote that he would call for a vote on significant policy changes, apologized, and said that no more such arbitrary moves would be made. After the vote, a trend started, “DO NOT STEP DOWN,” and it applies to Musk’s position. Tens of thousands of tweets have been written on this topic, which doesn’t sound like much compared to the millions of votes.

Musk has broken the silence. He RT’d a few tweets from Tesla and then that he had launched Twitter Blue, a subscription service for Twitter’s business users. Then, there were some replies to a few people (such as Kim Dotcom, founder of Megaupload, later Mega, who said that the vote could bring out the deep state bots because he believes Musk has become enemy number one in their eyes). But back to the voting: only Twitter Blue subscribers will be supposedly allowed to vote shortly in polls regarding the site’s policy changes.

The problem is that Twitter Blue, which costs $8 a month on PC and $11 on iOS (the difference is Apple’s 30% profit margin!), is not yet available everywhere, so it’s not even possible to get the blue tick in any country you pick.
