Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Is Delayed – Could There Be A Problem With Game Quality?!

Many of us have been waiting a long time, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer before we can get our hands on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

EA has announced that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be delayed to April 28, 2023. The upcoming Star Wars game was initially scheduled for release on March 17.

The announcement came from EA’s Star Wars account via Twitter, where Respawn Entertainment’s game director Stig Asmussen said the reasoning was to focus on “bug fixes to enhance performance, stability, polish and most importantly, the player experience.”

Asmussen explained that the delay will allow Respawn to reach the “quality bar”, giving the Respawn team enough time to “achieve the level of polish our fans deserve.”

That’s not the only headline EA released yesterday. It has just been announced that EA is halting development on Apex Legends Mobile and Battlefield Mobile. EA claims that it is shutting down Apex Mobile because the “ongoing experience was not going to meet the expectations of our players.” In the case of Battlefield Mobile, it is to realise their vision for the franchise best and “meet the expectations of our players”.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the direct sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which was released in 2019. At the time, it proved to be a significant success. It’s no coincidence that it has built up a serious fanbase. The sequel will be released for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC on April 28.
