The stately statue of Diablo IV character Inarius is now available for pre-order in the Blizzard Store.
Blizzard is offering what looks like a genuinely lavish choice in its shop: a statue of Inarius, whose eternal struggle with the demon Lilith is one of the central plot points of Diablo IV.
Inarius plays a rather important role in the deep history of Diablo: he was a key player in the creation of Sanctuary but was handed over to Mephisto as a prisoner under the terms of the truce that ended the Sin War.
Despite this, he never actually appeared in a Diablo game, although his diaries can be found in Diablo III. In the trailer for the Diablo IV release date, however, he takes centre stage and clearly has something to do with Lilith.
If you like her and want to take her home, she could be yours soon for the price of a solid mid-range gaming PC! It’s a really handy piece: you can set it up in your living room, bedroom, or anywhere else you feel you need divine protection.
The sculpture is 66 cm tall and weighs nearly 8.7 kg. It’s made of 80% polyresin and 20% PVC, sculpted by sculptors Brian Fay and Laurent Pierlot and hand-painted by Lewis Villamar, who is both a freelance artist and a senior test analyst at Blizzard.
It does come with a hefty price tag: $1,100/1,100 pounds/1,100 euros, which is almost twice as much as the slightly smaller Lilith statue Blizzard launched in 2019.
Inarius’ giant, staggeringly expensive statue is available for pre-order now. Blizzard hasn’t said when it will ship or how many pieces will be available for purchase. It is assumed that a limited quantity will be produced. The game itself will arrive on June 6.
