Digital Extremes and Airship Syndicate have announced that a closed beta test of the character-based online action-RPG Wayfinder will be held on PlayStation 5 and PC platforms from 28 February. Registration is now open. Wayfinder Early Access launches in May on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store, followed by a full free-to-play release on multiple platforms in the fall.

 

 

Wayfinder is a character-based online action-RPG developed by Digital Extremes and Airship Syndicate. In the game, players travel across the world of Evenor to find the lost Wayfinder Order, their last hope for maintaining a collapsing reality.

The game’s first closed beta test will begin on 28 February on PlayStation 5 and PC, and anyone can register on the official website. Players who join the closed beta test will be able to help shape and improve the game before it is fully completed before its eventual release.

Early Access will launch in May for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and players will get their first builds, the chance to join the community and help shape the game before its full release.

For those who want early access to the game, a Founders Pack Program will be available, the purchase of which will grant Early Access access and allow players to join Evenor. Each pack includes special and unique items such as cosmetic items, pets, riding animals, etc.

The game will be continuously updated with new content in seasons. Each season will feature a new character and his or her own weapon, as well as new events, challenges and much more for players who participate in the test, providing real-time feedback to the developers on the gameplay experience. Players can learn about the concept and world of Wayfinder and try out the game’s core features.

Early Access provides an opportunity for players to start exploring the game before the official launch, join the community and help develop the game. Along with Early Access comes the Founder’s Pack Program, which gives pre-orderers the opportunity to get early access to the game. The Founders Pack includes valuable and unique items that will not be available later.

The Wayfinder Seasons will offer a variety of new content during Early Access, including new characters and weapons, as well as challenges and events that will help players further deepen their gaming experience.

The game’s developers will share more details about the game in the future. Wayfinder will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC during the Early Access period, with a free full version available on other platforms at a later date.
