In the new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cal Kestis embarks on a dangerous journey, but when will we be able to try it out as part of the Xbox Game Pass on consoles and PC?
The sequel to Respawn’s exciting Star Wars Jedi series has been years in the making, and it’s finally here. Survivor will take us back to the galaxy far, far away, and relatively soon, we’ll get to work trying to stop the Empire and Darth Vader. But will it all work on Xbox Game Pass? We couldn’t wait to see some of our favourite characters from the previous instalment again; we also got to meet some new faces.
Now, we can’t help but wonder if we’ll be able to play the game as part of our Xbox Game Pass subscription when the release date approaches.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will not be part of the Xbox Game Pass library at launch. However, “the worst PC port of 2023 so far” will be available with EA Play and Game Pass Ultimate. Currently, it looks like the game will join the services in 2023 or early 2024 at the latest. If you can’t wait that long, you can pre-order the game now.
Microsoft and EA signed a deal back in 2020. This will allow Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to get EA Play games as part of their subscription. This means that as soon as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor actually arrives on EA Play, Game Pass Ultimate players will get the game. As soon as the latest Star Wars game joins EA Play, it’ll definitely be worth looking out for on Game Pass as well.
While we wait for Survivor to become part of the Game Pass library, you can check out the best Xbox Game Pass games if you need something to play with your subscription. Or you can check out all the Game Pass games currently on the service.
