Microsoft has announced which new games will be available to service subscribers.
The lead title in this update is Redfall (Xbox Series, PC, cloud) from Arkane Austin, and since Xbox Game Studios also owns Bethesda, it’s a right-into-Game Pass release. The other games are not so high-budget (although they might beat Redfall in terms of quality…): Ravenlok arrives on May 4 (console – i.e., Xbox Series and Xbox One -, PC, cloud), Weird West: Definitive Edition (Xbox Series) on May 8, Shadowrun Trilogy (PC; available on console and cloud) on May 9, and Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 (console, PC, cloud) on May 11 with another day-1 release.
As a reminder, Microsoft is bringing two games to our attention, both returning titles. The first is Besiege (console, PC, cloud), returning to Game Pass with its full release. The other is Quantum Break (console, PC) from Remedy Entertainment. Among the DLCs and updates, Grounded: The Super Duper Update has already been released, and on May 4, the free Luke Starkiller character will arrive in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga,
There is an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perk, but we don’t recommend it because it will cause gambling addiction, as Madden NFL 23 has an EA Play Ultimate Team Pack. Electronic Arts must want to line their pockets again before they release Madden NFL 24, which will be the same as last year. There are two Xbox Game Pass quests. 250 points are awarded to Ultimate subscribers if they have 20 conversations in Wasteland 2: Director’s Cut, but everyone can get 5 points if they play Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. There will also be a special one-day mission on May 4. And finally, the games leaving on May 15 are Before We Leave (console, PC, cloud), Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition (console, PC, cloud), Hearts of Iron IV (PC), Her Story (PC), and Umurangi Generation: Special Edition (console, PC, cloud).
