BREAKING: Mortal Kombat 12 Reveal Date Is Out!

Mortal Kombat fans only have a few hours left to prepare. The official launch date for the game has finally been confirmed!

Series creator Ed Boon took to Twitter to troll fans about Mortal Kombat 12. Teaser videos have been posted on the franchise’s official social media channels. One of the teaser videos showed little more than a grain of sand, but it was enough to get fans excited. The second teaser showed a ticking clock. It suggested that Game 12 would actually be a reboot. Now, the third teaser is confirmed when fans will be able to find out more about the game in official form.

The latest Mortal Kombat 12 teaser follows on from the previous one, showing a padlock ticking at number 1 before the glass on the clock shatters.

The screen then reads “IT IS TIME” and then announces that the unveiling date for the new Mortal Kombat game will be Thursday, May 18, at 6 a.m. PT. It’s unclear how extensive the unveiling might be. What is certain is that fans can expect a trailer. It shows some of the characters that will be on the player roster.

As a matter of fact, some information about the project has already been leaked online. According to them, MK 12 will indeed be a reboot. Some say it will be called Mortal Kombat 1. The game will reportedly feature the main characters from the original game, and some surprise guest stars may be added.

If leaks and rumours are to be believed, MK 12 guest stars could include characters such as Homelander from The Boys, Conan the Barbarian and Peacemaker.

Fans should always treat leaks cautiously, but it will be interesting to see if any of the leaked information is confirmed as part of the big reveal on May 18.

The reveal of Mortal Kombat 12 in May this year has been hinted at for some time. So it’s good to see it finally actually happening. Fans of the series should tune in for the reveal event. In any case, we’ll soon find out if the leaks are accurate and what else the new game has in store.
