MOVIE NEWS – Just 12 months after its launch, SkyShowtime added 10 new original series premieres to its offer – including works from Central and Eastern European, Iberian and Scandinavian countries Monty Sarhan, CEO of SkyShowtime announced the arrival of the new series at the prestigious Marché du Film (Festival de Cannes) he announced in his speech at the film festival.

SkyShowtime, which launched in September in the Nordic countries and has been present in all target countries for just 80 days, will present a total of 10 home-produced series in 2023 – an amazing and unprecedented achievement for a service that is not even a year old. SkyShowtime’s collection of self-produced series will be expanded from June 19 with the drama Warszawianka and the Czech-Slovak co-production comedy The Winner, which will be presented later in the year.
SkyShowtime also has a number of new series coming to SkyShowtime during the year, including the critically acclaimed ‘mystery of the week’ Poker Face, starring Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll, Orange Is The New Black) as Charlie, the girl with a special ability to recognize the lies of others.
