PlayStation 5 Pro: You Won’t Believe How Much Money Sony Is Trying To Squeeze Out Of Us! [VIDEO]

TECH NEWS – The rumoured price of the PlayStation 5 Pro may be a headache – not many people will be able to shell out that much!

Rumours about the PlayStation 5 Pro have been circulating the internet for quite some time. After all, we all know it’s inevitable. Since the original PlayStation, Sony has released at least one revamped console in every generation. It makes sense that the PS5 will be no exception.

Some recent rumours suggest that the PS5 Pro could cost between £600 and £700. Of course, this shiny new PS5 is likely to come with better visuals and performance, as well as many other extras.

Building on previous rumours, as reported by altchar.com (via Red Gaming Tech), a recent report has reiterated claims that the PS5 Pro could cost up to $700.

If these reports are indeed accurate, that would translate to around £565 in the UK.

However, as is often the case, the currency may not be taken into account. The UK would probably be tweaked by the £600 to £700 price range mentioned above. EU and Hungarian prices tend to be aligned with this.

“I’ve heard it’s going to be very expensive. I’ve gotten some reports of $600-700, and considering what’s going on right now, that’s a lot of cash,” states Red Gaming Tech in a recent video.

Red Gaming Tech went on to claim that the PS5 Pro will also be powered by an AMD RDNA 3 GPU and a Zen 4 CPU. This will make the console twice as fast in rasterization and 2.5 times faster in ray tracing performance compared to the original model.

There has also been talk of a new Xbox console, but it’s believed that Microsoft will release a revamped Xbox Series X after the launch of the Sony PS 5 Pro. That being said, these rumours are unconfirmed for now, so until proven otherwise, take them lightly.
