Tom Cruise May Go, but Mission: Impossible is Probably Staying

MOVIE NEWS – So far, it seems that after the seventh Mission: Impossible opus, which will be released in two parts, Tom Cruise will no longer play global super agent Ethan Hunt. However, this does not mean that one of the most successful cinema franchises of all time will close the curtain.

The director of Mission: Impossible Showdown Part One, which will be released soon, Christopher McQuarrie said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that everything in the history of the franchise has always been it was malleable. “We are in the middle of filming Mission: Impossible Showdown Part Two, and the story can have several outcomes – suggested the director suspiciously. – There is always some plan that gets derailed, but in the end everything works out well. A person is not even able to fully understand what is happening during the journey until he reaches the end.”

There are indications that Mission: Impossible may be on a similar trajectory to the Deadly Wound series, where it now it is certain that the Vin Diesels will get out, but the young generation will continue to press the pedal. The stars of the M:I franchise have slowly grown old after three decades of running, but the business model works flawlessly, so there may be more episodes with new stars. In the case of M:I, the further guarantee of the continuation is Tom Cruise, who can watch over the development of the series as a producer, and while the young people continue to fight, he could delight the audience with cameos from episode to episode, as probably also the producer Vin Diesel plans in his high-speed empire.

In Mission: Impossible Showdown Part One, along with Cruise, previously loved heroes (Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby), plays the mysterious arch-villain Esai Morales, and the even more mysterious Mistress of Doom, Gace, is played by Hayley Atwell, who is the Marvel – came from the movie universe.
