That’s right; Steam has released hundreds of free downloads for the biggest games of 2023.
We have to admit: Steam has been dripping with discounts lately. This means that our backlog of games is rising to dizzying heights that we may never fully clear. But it’s always worth adding a few more to the cap. Especially if they’re exciting and free.
Just yesterday, one of Steam’s most popular games, Valheim, got a bunch of new free content. A critically acclaimed release, Guacamelee! and its sequel are available for free download now. You can get a free taste of Jusant, one of the most essential multiplayer releases of 2023. Plus, you can get 12 indie titles for free. The fun doesn’t end there.
Steam Next Fest runs from June 19 to June 26, and during that time, you can download and sample hundreds of free demos for some truly incredible games.
Over the next week, you’ll be able to enjoy hundreds of Steam demos. This is a great way to narrow down which full releases you want to buy over the next year. Of course, we can’t undertake to list them all. But a few popular choices are worth highlighting. Lies of P currently dominates the Next Fest lists. Developed by Round8 Studio, the upcoming soulslike is loosely based around Pinnochio’s famous character. It is scheduled for release on September 19, 2023.
Players are also fans of Sea of Stars. Created by Sabotage Studio, the turn-based RPG focuses on two heroes named Valere and Zale. They harness the power of the sun and moon to battle an evil alchemist. The game has been compared to Chrono Trigger. If that’s not your thing, you might want to try the medieval multiplayer Warhaven or the sci-fi single-player adventure The Invincible.
There’s also life simulator Moonstone Island, puzzle-platformer Viewfinder, RPG For The King II, action-adventure game En Grade, hack and slash Eternights, farming simulator Paleo Pines and racing racer Pacific Drive. We could go on and on. Next Fest is definitely worth browsing. You can find everything at the link below.
