CINEMA NEWS – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is doing well in the fierce competition, approaching the dream limit of 100 million dollars in two weeks. According to the unanimous opinion of the critics, this is the best part of the franchise, the film is accordingly 96 percent on the RottenTomatoes criticism portal.
And there is quite a twist in the story of the mutant turtles – I mean from a commercial point of view. It’s about a 40-year-old brand that’s well-known across age groups almost everywhere in the world, so the hype for the new movie, which began months earlier, has boosted sales of turtle-related products to the point where the amount already exceeds one billion dollars. Such global giants cooperate with the brand as Pizza Hut – teen ninjas are big pizza fans, Xbox and LEGO, not to mention smaller companies. So it’s no surprise that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was made as a reboot, that is, they are restarting the movie series based on the apparently proven new concept, according to which the ninjas are funnier and more relaxed teenagers than ever before.</p >
