A Number of Popular Games Will Disappear from PlayStation Plus in October – and We Know Exactly what Day!

In October, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have to say goodbye to many of their favorite games. The new month’s changes include several popular titles.

Recently, the PlayStation Plus service has increasingly tried to rise to the level of Xbox Game Pass, offering subscribers a lot of quality games without additional fees. However, as with all subscription services, there are game rotations. Next month is no exception, and many games will be discontinued.

All information is officially sourced directly from the PlayStation Store as well as official announcements from PlayStation. There are currently 16 games scheduled to leave PS Plus Extra and Premium in October 2023, including The Medium and The Crew. The games will leave PS Plus on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

According to a recently published list, the following games will leave the PlayStation Plus offer:

  • Astebreed
  • Clouds & Sheep 2
  • Far Cry 4
  • Far Cry 5
  • Gal*Gunvolt Burst
  • Goosebumps: The Game
  • Inside
  • Limbo
  • Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker
  • The Crew
  • The Medium
  • The Quarry
  • TorqueL
  • Yakuza 3 Remastered
  • Yakuza 4 Remastered
  • Yakuza 5 Remastered

It’s particularly surprising that PlayStation Plus decided to remove some excellent horror games from its list right before Halloween. Of course, players can still find plenty of adventures on offer, but if they want to try any of the above games, they should hurry.

While the number of recently added games continues to grow and includes several great titles, the list of October newcomers is still a mystery that Sony is closely guarding.
