In the world of the comics, this area appears as a small country in Central and Eastern Europe where the inhabitants speak Hungarian, and although Hungary also appears on the map, Symkaria is presented as a separate, often war-torn area.

In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the mercenaries of Symkaria also appear, and in a certain section, Mary Jane Watson has to act smartly against them. MJ puts her full language skills to work, and while we welcome this little wink, actress Laura Bailey certainly did her best to make the character sound authentic.
