The latest Mortal Kombat 1 skin mod to catch the attention of gamers adds Uncharted protagonist Nathan Drake to the fighting game.
There’s a new Mortal Kombat 1 mod that adds Uncharted’s Nathan Drake. The brutal fighting game is known for doing crossovers with different franchises to add playable characters like Omni-Man, Peacemaker and Homelander, and occasionally there will be modders who will add other characters to Mortal Kombat 1.
Mortal Kombat 1, released last September, added new features such as Kameo Fighters, Air Combos, and even Quitality, when the player breaks contact in a match. Although the fighting game received positive reviews, it also took its share of criticism for issues such as microtransactions and disappointing Switch output. Despite this, many players are still having fun with the fighting and the overall experience.
Some Mortal Kombat 1 fans have discovered how to activate the DLC’s Kameo Tremor secret Brutality, which changes an aspect of one’s move.
Mortal Kombat 1 players have a number of fun ways to make the game more exciting, and one of them is by installing mods. The latest Mortal Kombat 1 mod that has caught players’ attention adds Uncharted’s Nathan Drake to the game. Uploaded to Nexus Mods by NathanDrake26, the mod gives players the ability to dress Johnny Cage in Nathan’s Uncharted 4 costume.
This isn’t the first time an Uncharted mod has been made for a Mortal Kombat game, as there are YouTube videos of Mortal Kombat 9 players grinding story mode with Nathan. It won’t be long before Mortal Kombat 1 players start uploading videos of their Uncharted-style gameplay. In the meantime, many Mortal Kombat 1 players are experimenting with other interesting mods, such as skins for Spider-Man and J. Jonah Jameson, as well as a dizzying first-person camera mod.
What’s great about some of the skin mods in Mortal Kombat 1 is that the creators choose the best characters to build these skins around. The Freddy Fazbear mod, for example, was made for Cyrax because they’re both robot characters. The Nathan Drake skin for Johnny Cage was also a good fit because both characters have dark hair, and the Uncharted protagonist really looked good with Cage’s sass.
As for the content release, Mortal Kombat 1 is far from done. It’s currently in the middle of its second season, which includes an Invasion mode, new characters and cosmetics, as well as a number of bug fixes. Mortal Kombat 1 is also set to release additional Kombat Pack DLC early next year, introducing new playable characters such as Takeda Takahashi and Quan Chi. Rumours suggest that future DLCs will also feature crossover characters such as Conan the Barbarian, Deathstroke, and even Megan Fox and Travis Scott among the celebrity appearances.
