An EA Game To Be Announced At The Game Awards 2023 Might Be Leaked?!

According to a reliable source, information about one of EA’s upcoming titles has leaked ahead of its unveiling at the 2023 Game Awards.

A few days before the 2023 edition of The Game Awards, some information about EA Originals’ new game Tales of Kenzara: ZAU has leaked on social media. The leak claimed that the new title is planned to be unveiled at The Game Awards. He also went into detail about when players can expect this title.

All leaks and rumours should be treated with caution. However, the timing of the leak is striking on social media.

While some users claimed that the leaks surrounding Tales of Kenzara: ZAU undermined the upcoming IP reveal, others expressed interest in how it would compare to other titles under the EA Originals banner, such as Immortals of Aveum and It Takes Two.

Not all EA Originals titles have done really well. But, the program allowed independent studios to put their games in the spotlight. A credible source on social media has claimed that another IP will soon be joining the EA Originals lineup.

According to the leaked information, Tales of Kenzara: ZAU is a 2.5D action platformer developed by England’s Surgent Studios. It will reportedly offer horizontal gameplay similar to the Trine series. Players will be able to take on the mantle of a young mage. They can switch between two different magic types and play styles. These are coded in blue and orange. Although further details were not revealed in the leaked information, the leak claimed that Tales of Kenzara: ZAU will be released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S with a starting price of $17.99. However, the leak could not confirm whether the Switch, PS4, or Xbox One will be supported or not.

The leak also stated that Tales of Kenzara: ZAU will potentially be released on April 23, 2024, with pre-orders starting right after the game’s official announcement in early December 2023.

Suffice it to say, an early December window would likely mean that Surgent Studios’ new IP will join a packed line of potential PlayStation and Xbox releases at The Game Awards on December 7.

Some gamers have disputed the leaks in question regarding Tales of Kenzara: ZAU. But only time will tell if Surgent Studio’s new IP will appear during the broadcast or not. The latest EA rumour and news from studios like Sega confirm that the first week of December 2023 is good news for gamers.
