The game from Bethesda Game Studios is not one of the most innovative titles of the year!

Steam has announced the nominees and categories for this year’s Steam Awards. These awards are based solely on user votes; unlike the Golden Joystick and The Game Awards, the shortlist is also determined by the public. There is one notable difference, however, and that is that Baldur’s Gate 3 can’t win it all here, as the Steam Awards only allow a game to be nominated in a maximum of two categories.

Voting will begin on December 21 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET (the same time Steam goes down for a few hours to kick off the Winter Sale). You will receive a chat sticker for each category you vote in, and voting will continue until January 2. At that time, the winners will be announced, and the winners will also receive a trophy (not just figuratively, as Valve means it literally… but on the Steam pages, the winning games will also receive a virtual trophy).
