Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: Two More Games Added For Subscribers!

Microsoft has released an update to its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription service that adds two games to the lineup.

The latest update to the Ultimate tier of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service has added two more games to subscribers. While most new Game Pass games are available for all tiers above Core in a given month, occasional games skip vanilla Game Pass in favour of PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

In most cases, these Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass exclusive games are titles that have technically been added to EA Play.

EA Play is one of the benefits of Game Pass Ultimate. So whoever is willing to pay for the higher level of the service can access any new EA Play game in addition to the latest Game Pass games.

Anyway, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can try out Super Mega Baseball 4 starting January 11th; the game can be played in the cloud, on Xbox consoles and on PC. With the exception of Core subscribers, all Game Pass subscribers can also watch We Happy Few, which is also playable in the cloud, on Xbox consoles, and on PC.

For those unfamiliar with the Game Pass Ultimate games, Super Mega Baseball 4 is an arcade baseball game released in 2023 that mainly received positive reviews. In general, Super Mega Baseball games have been pretty consistent. They often received good reviews, and we find ourselves among the sports games released that year.

Baseball fans who haven’t checked out the latest installment should definitely plan to now that Super Mega Baseball 4 is readily available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Meanwhile, the We Happy Few is a bit of an odd duck. Because it was developed by the Compulsion Games studio owned by Xbox. Yet it was previously removed from Game Pass. It is possible that the We Happy Few is here to stay for now. But that hasn’t been revealed yet. We Happy Few takes some inspiration from BioShock in its presentation. The game also has some roguelike and survival game mechanics thrown in to spice things up. We Happy Few received mixed reviews upon its release. However, Game Pass subscribers are still recommended to give it a try. After all, you can play the entire game without paying anything on top of the normal Game Pass fee, so there’s no harm in giving it a try.
