PlayStation Plus: More Classic Games Added To The Catalogue! [VIDEO]

It looks like PlayStation Plus has added five new classic titles to its lineup, which are now available…

PlayStation Plus has updated its list again! More games have been added that you can download and play for free, provided you have the correct membership.

This time, the expansions will only be available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers. Because these are all classic games that are perfect for hardcore retro fans and new fans alike.

Of course, the biggest sensation on PS5 today is The Last of Us Part II Remastered – see the video review of the game at the end of the article!

RPG fans will definitely want to check out Secret of Mana and Legend of Mana. Two fantastic titles from Square Enix that you should check out if you played Sea Of Stars earlier this year. These are pretty long games. An average playthrough will take around 20 hours. But they can be longer depending on how much you explore. You will definitely want to explore as the worlds are unique.

If you want faster-paced fun, you should play Rally Cross and Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection.

Rally Cross is your standard racing game, taking things off-road as you fight for first place. It was initially released for the PlayStation 1, so the graphics are a bit old. But it’s still a lot of fun. As for Street Fighter, this collection includes 12 games. It was not very well received when it was released. However, if you’re a fan of fighting games and have access to this with your subscription, it’s worth checking out.

Finally, Star Wars fans should check out Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace. Based on the film, players control Qui-gon Jinn, Obi-wan Kenobi, and occasionally Padme Amidala as they battle droids, alien criminals, and beloved Star Wars nemesis Darth Maul. The Jedi characters are obviously the most fun, as they shred enemies with their lightsabers and can throw stuff with force abilities.

It’s not a particularly recent game either, but it was one of the most entertaining titles of the prequel era at the time, which you shouldn’t miss if you didn’t try it back then.

All games are available now as part of the PlayStation Plus Premium subscription. It’s worth trying them out if you’re looking for your next retro adventure!
